A flashcard works because of the gap between seeing the front and seeing the back. That pause is where the recall happens, and it is the single thing a flashcard video has to get right. Show the answer too quickly and you have made a list; leave it too long and the viewer disengages.

YAQUIZO gives you the front, a countdown, and the back as three separate timings you can set independently. If one card in a deck is harder than the rest, it can have a longer countdown without changing the others.

The whole deck can come from a spreadsheet. The importer reads a front column and a back column, so an existing set of two hundred cards becomes a video without retyping any of it.

Tips that actually help

Frequently asked questions

Can I import an existing deck? +

Yes — CSV, Excel (.xlsx) and JSON. The answer column becomes the back of the card, and an extra column can carry a hint.

Can I set a different time per card? +

Yes. Each card can override the project countdown, so a hard card gets longer without slowing the whole deck.

Can I export the deck as images? +

Yes. Image mode renders each card at its revealed state — front and back visible — as PNG, JPEG or a single PDF for printing.
